Arsenal Want Toon’s Playmaker Yohan Cabaye in January
The north London club – Arsenal have been told by The Magpies that they can sign midfielder Yohan Cabaye in £22m when the transfer window re-opens in January, reports Daily Mail.
The Gunners have been in hunt for the highly-rated 27-year-old midfielder since the beginning of the season in order to improve attacking options.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew’s side is currently sit sixth in the Premier League standings, and they are reluctant to sell their star midfield with a huge price tag on the player’s head in January transfer window.
The Frenchman joined Newcastle united in June 2011 on a five-year deal. He made his league debut 0–0 draw against Arsenal on August 2011.
Following with his excellent form, Cabaye has scored 4 goals along with 4 assist in 15 appearances so far.
It would not be a good decision by Cabaye if he moves to the Gunners, as he might not get the chance to play in the first-team football for the Gunners but surely he will not disappoint Arsene Wenger Strike force.
