Mario Balotelli confirms Milan exit
AC Milan have announced that Mario Balotelli has said goodbye to Rossoneri’s members ahead of his rumoured £16m move to Premier League giants Liverpool.
According to BBC Sport, the Merseyside club have had a £16m bid accepted by the Italian giants for the controversial striker Mario Balotelli.
The 24-year-old has scored 30 goals in 54 Serie A appearances since his £19m move to AC Milan from Manchester City last year.
Milan released a statement on their official website confirming that the Italy international had bid farewell to his team-mates.
“Mario Balotelli left Milanello’s sporting centre at 13:30 local time, after saying goodbye to his team-mates,” a Milan statement read.
“Before leaving the premises, the striker has said goodbye to members of Milan’s press office.”
If the deal is finalised – Balotelli would be guaranteed Champions League football at Anfield.
