The Argentina international joined the Red Devils last summer for a British record fee of £59.7 million, but was failed to make an impact after a series of injuries at Old Trafford, scoring just three league goals in last season.
The move were not a surprise to the fans and pundits alike, after plenty of rumours gathered pace over the last few weeks that the 27-year-old was on the verge of joining the Parisian giants.
That did not please many United fans around the social networking site (Twitter) when they saw the South American leave on Thursday, but there were few who were happy to see him going.
You were always special to us, Madridistas. Goodluck #DiMaria

Not sure I want to live in a world where Raheem Sterling is valued more than Di Maria in the same summer… #MUFC #DiMaria #PSG

That isn’t to say Di Maria has conducted himself with much class this summer. He hasn’t, at all.

I can’t actually believe that Di Maria has the nerve to blame United. He gave the club no option but to sell him

Di Maria is nothing but a bottlejob
