The Colombian international joined the Blues from Fiorentina in the January, but he struggled to make into the first team in his fifteen appearances.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho sent him back to Italy on a season-long loan deal with The Old Lady, where he has rediscovered his form and now the Italian champions are ready to pay £14.8m for the 27-year-old winger on a permanent deal.
However, the west London club are said to be in no hurry for negotiation, given their disastrous performance this season.
Chelsea are currently in sixteenth place in eight games, ten points behind league leaders Manchester City.
Cuadrado has played nine times for the Serie A champions this season.
