R. Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo hints SHOCK summer move
Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked rumours about his long-term future to the Real Madrid, by insisting he ‘doesn’t know what will happen’ in the coming years.
The 30-year-old striker has enjoyed successful career since joining the La Liga giants from Man United in 2009, becoming club’s all-time leading goalscorer earlier this season.
The Portugal international has refused to comment on whether he would see out his career with the 10-time European Champions but has admitted he is currently happy at the Bernabeu.
He said Efe Agency via Daily Mail: “At this moment, I’m happy playing for Real Madrid but I don’t know what will happen in my future. I must choose the way that makes me happy.”
Ronaldo’s statement regarding his future will surely fuelled speculation linking him with a move back to his former club Manchester United, where he spent six hugely successful years between 2003-2009, having won three Premier League titles, the European Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, the FA Cup and two Football League Cups.
