Didier Drogba: I’ll stay with Chelsea for another season
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has confirmed that he will be staying with the Blues for next season, despite his current contract expiring in the summer.
The 36-year-old veteran, re-signed Chelsea in the summer on a one-year deal following a successful first spell in West London, which concluded in 2012.
“Next season, I will still be a player for Chelsea,” the Ivorian told Telefoot as quoted by the Metro.
While Drogba is set to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, there is some rumours over whether John Terry will be joining him.
Drogba has scored six goals in 27 appearances in all competitions this season.
Chelsea are currently sit at top of the league table and are favourites among the punters to win their third Premier League title under Jose Mourinho’s guidance.
