Done Deal: Liverpool sign Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg
Liverpool have announced the signing of Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg for a reported £4.2m fee plus add-ons.
The Estonian defender arrived in Merseyside from the German outfit on a long-term deal.
The 30-year-old, who spent the last four seasons in the Bundesliga, is likely to replace Kolo Toure, who left Anfield this summer after his contract expired.

“I’m really honoured to be part of this amazing club, this amazing team,” he told the club’s official website. “It’s hard to put it into words, because it’s been a dream of mine for 22 years to come to the Premier League and be a part of this amazing club, Liverpool.
“The Premier League is the most attractive league in the world and you always have amazing players here. This is the home of football.”
The centre-back becomes Jurgen Klopp’s fifth summer signing, following the arrival of Marko Grujic, Loris Karius, Sadio Mane and Matip to the Reds.
Klavan has made more than 100 appearances for Augsburg.
