Edinson Cavani to stay at PSG, rules out EXIT
Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani is reportedly being tipped to stay and fight for his place at Parc des Princes, Goal.com reports.
The 28-year-old attacker is said to be frustrated with his current situation on the wings given that manager Laurent Blanc prefers to use club’s star Zlatan Ibrahimovic down the middle.
His frustrations attract the attentions of Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal, as the Dutchman looks to reinforce his attack.
However, the report claimed that the Uruguayan international is determined to stay with the French champions and has no intention of making a switch away from the Parisians.
“Edinson will stay with PSG. The problems he has he knows how to deal with them like any professional,” as quoted by Goal. “He is a team player and certainly does not feel uncomfortable here.”
Despite endured a difficult season so far, Cavani has scored 11 goals in 21 league matches for the Ligue 1 leaders.
