Chelsea fans delighted to Ramires new long-term deal
The Brazilian playmaker will be at Stamford Bridge until 2019.
The reigning English champions Chelsea have handed the Brazilian midfielder Ramires a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old joined the Blues from Benfica in 2010 and has made 250 appearances for the Premier League outfit since.
Ramires, who has scored two goals this season – has won the Premier League title, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League during his stay at the west London club.
Chelsea have failed make an impact this term so far and were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke City on penalties earlier this week.
So the Chelsea supporters were in need of a reason to be delight with the deal on Twitter..
