Official: Inter Milan snap up Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg

The Italian giants Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Wolfsburg midfielder Ivan Perisic on a five-year deal.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Wolves from Borussia Dortmund in 2013, arrived in Italy for a medical on Saturday for an undisclosed fee, the deal is thought to be in the region of £13m.

The Croatia international joins the San Siro outfit as a replacement for Xherdan Shaqiri, who switch to English side Stoke City earlier this month.

Perisic has scored 20 goals and provided 16 assists in 84 appearances over the past three season. He could be available for his debut against AC Milan on September 13.
