The 19-year-old had been in rumours to be linked with a move to join Chelsea or Manchester City in summers. However the midfielder has ended that speculation by signing a new contract that will keep him at the Villa Park until the summer of 2018.
According to the Irish Independent, the deal is reported somewhere in the region of £20,000-a-week.
“I’m delighted and it’s a dream come true to commit my future to my boyhood club,” Grealish told club’s official website. “I’ve had a season ticket at Villa since I was four-years-old and came to every game, so this is a big thing for me and my family.”
Grealish has made three appearances for Paul Lambert’s side in all competitions this season.
