Rumours: Klopp to replace Rodgers at Anfield?
Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been linked up with Liverpool’s hierarchy in oder to replace struggling manager Brendan Rodgers after his poor start to the season – especially when the Reds slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Having won just two of their last nine in all competitions, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has come under intense pressure due to his side’s poor performance to this Premier League season.
The Daily Express claims that Klopp, 47, who is also seen as the ideal replacement to Arsene Wenger at Emirates, could be the number one contender to take the command in the coming weeks at Anfield.
Klopp has emerged as one of the hottest properties in football management since taking the command at Signal Iduna Park in 2008, who has won two Bundesliga titles, two DFL Supercup and the DFB-Pokal and as well as leading Dortmund to the Champions League final in 2012/13.
