Newcastle set to make January move for Dutchman Luuk de Jong
According to the reports in Sky Sports, Newcastle United are all set to make a January move for striker Luuk De Jong from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
In summers, The Magpies were heavily linked with the Netherlands international, and it has been reported that now Alan Pardew’s side are now ready to make a move for Dutchman before the deadline of this January transfer window.
Alan Pardew is desperate to improve his attacking options for the second half of the season and De Jong would be an ideal option for the Toon Army.
Initially, Newcastle to make a loan move with an option for a permanent transfer in six months’ time frame.
The 23-year-old, who joined Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 on a five-year deal with a fee of £12.6m and has appeared in 13 league games this season, so far.
