Pay €100m for Kevin Strootman, says Roma boss Garcia
Roma manager Rudi Garcia has told Manchester United to pay whopping €100m if they want to land Kevin Strootman to Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford since Van Gaal’s appointment as the Red Devils looks to strengthen their midfield ahead of the next season.
The Serie A club’s manager Garcia has made it clear that €100m bid from United will persuade Roma to think about letting Strootman leave.
“What can I say about the rumours (about Strootman joining United)…” Garcia said.
“Maybe after a three-digit offer, then we will sit down and think about it.”
The Dutch international, who joined Roma in 2013 from PSV Eindhoven, scored five goals and provided six assists in 25 Serie A appearances last season.
