Pellegrini: we will try to continue winning
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini wants to dominate English football for the next 10 years, after lifted the Premier League title on Sunday, Liverpool finish 2nd and Chelsea 3rd, reports the Daily Star.
The Citizens clinched the trophy with a comfortably 2-0 win over West Ham at home, with a goals from Samir Nasri and Vincent Kompany.
This is the second Premier League title in three years for Manchester City.
“Big teams cannot be satisfied with one title,” said Pellegrini.
“It’s very important – this club and players deserve more titles.
“We try to continue improving. In the future we will try to continue winning.”
The Chilean became the first non-European manager to win the Premier League title.
