Real Madrid defender signs new contract until 2017
Real Madrid defender Pepe has put pen to paper on a one-year extension that will keep him at the Bernabeu until the June 2017.
There were much speculations that the 32-year-old could be available for transfer this summer as he had just 12 months left on his previous deal.
However, Los Blancos have secured the services of Portuguese international, who joined the Spanish giants from Porto in 2007. Since then he has played more than 280 game for the club, having won two league titles, Copa del Rey, a FIFA Club World Cup and lifted the UEFA Champions League.
