Real Madrid target Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling?

The Spanish club Real Madrid are reportedly planning a summer move for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling in a £35 million bid, according to the Daily Star.

The reigning European Champions are said to have been targeting the 20-year-old since from last year and the report suggesting – if the midfielder decides to make a move away from the Premier League giants then the Catalan club will reportedly make a bid of £35 million in the summer to land him at the Bernabeu.

However, It’s been recently reported that the Merseyside club are close in on securing Sterling on a new five-year contract worth £100,000-a-week, who still has more than two years left on his current contract at the Anfield.

The Jamaican-born England international is set to become Reds’ talisman following Steven Gerrard’s decision to leave the club at the end of the season.

Sterling has scored four goals and provided 4 assists in 20 games for Liverpool this season.
