Report: Chelsea to table new bid for Everton’s John Stones
Chelsea will launch a final improved offer for Everton defender John Stones, potentially be worth £40m, according to the Guardian.
The 21-year-old submitted a transfer request to make a move away from the Goodison Park but the Toffees reiterated that they will not sell the England international to the reigning Premier League champions.

The Blues have already had three bids rejected for the central defender, the last bid was reported to be worth somewhere in the region of £30m.
However, the report claims that the West London club will lodge a fourth bid of around £40m, an offer which is double their initial valuation of the defender.
