Report: Mourinho close to agreeing Manchester United deal

According to reports in Italy and Spain are claiming that former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has signed a deal to replace Louis van Gaal, who is expected to leave Manchester United in the summer.

El Confidencial is suggesting that the Portuguese boss has held talks with representatives from Old Trafford, and has agreed to take over at Old Trafford.

It was suggested earlier this week that Ed Woodward has decided to replace the Dutchman in the summer, with Mourinho seen as potential candidate for this job.

Also, Sky Italia journalist Alessandro Alciato claims the same.
