Ruben Neves’ availability gives Man Utd a transfer boost

Manchester United have received encouraging news in their pursuit of Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers, as the midfielder is expected to be sold by Wolves this summer.

The Portugal international has been strongly linked with the Red Devils on multiple occasions in the past, but a deal has never been struck.

However, with the 26-year-old having turned down a contract renewal beyond June 2024, the west Midlands outfit are likely to sell him, and Man United are in the market for a young, experienced midfielder, making Neves an excellent potential acquisition.

He has extensive experience in the Premier League and would be an ideal fit for the Mancunian giants.

While Wolves valued him at £75 million two years ago, it is believed that they may sell him for a lower fee of around £30m this summer.

Liverpool could also be interested in Neves, having been following his career since his time at Porto.
