Reports: Saido Berahino wants to join Spurs
West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is desperate for a move to Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window shuts down, as reported by ESPN FC.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on the Englishman as he looks to bolster his attacking options this summer, with reports claiming that the North London club are number one favourites of securing the 22-year-old’s signature.
Tottenham are yet to find a replacement for Roberto Soldado, who joined Villarreal last week. Berahino seen as an ideal option at White Hart Lane, as the striker has scored 14 goals and creating 28 chances for the Baggies last season.
West Brom have already secured two new forwards this summer, having former Liverpool front-man Rickie Lambert and Zenit St Petersburg’s Salomon Rondon.
Meanwhile West Brom have officially rejected £18million bid for Saido Berahino. who was value at £25m.
Now we can expect Spurs to go back with a higher offer…!
