Southampton Planning summer move for Juventus Striker
Southampton are preparing a £2m summer move to sign Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella, reports in The Mirror.
The former Italian forward has won 25 international caps and represented his country at the 2010 World Cup. Although, he has been in sensational form this season at Turin has netted three goals in 16 appearances this season.
The report claims, Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino is considering a well- experienced front-man in his squad to replace bad boy Italy team-mate Dani Osvaldo for the coming season and Quagliarella seems to be the ideal replacement, who can help Southampton for European qualification as well.
It is understood that, the former Napoli star, 31, was in rumours to be linked with Arsenal last summer, to leave his current side to get his career back on the track.
