The 26-year-old left-back, who had been attracting interest from Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion, had a year left on his previous deal – but has ended speculation over his future by extending his stay at the Liberty Stadium until the summer of 2019.
The Welshman, who made more than 130 appearances for the Swans, will soon join up with the international squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Belgium on June 12.
Taylor made 36 appearances in all competitions this season as the club finished eighth in the Premier League.
